Sir Edmund Hillary Information Report

Sir Edmund Hillary
Sir Edmund Hillary was the very first person to climb
Mount Everest. He is on the five dollar note because he
climbed Mount Everest. Sir Edmund Hillary climbed Mount
Everest on the 29th of May 1953.
He did not climb Mount Everest alone, he climbed Mount
Everest with Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.
They had to tackle rock and ice face’s for five hours.
At ll:30AM Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay
were on top of the world.
Over the next 50 Years the Himalayan Trust was
founded. There were lots of donations to the Himalayan
Trust to build the first school.
40 students went to the opening of the new school to get
an education.
Building the first school was very difficult because
they had no heavy machinery, to remove tough boulders in
the ground.
Sir Edmund Hillary was full of sadness when he found out
that his wife and daughter died in a plane crash.
During the next 30 years the Himalayan Trust had built
27 schools, 2 hospitals, 12 clinics, several bridges,
and an airstrip.
Sadly Sir Edmund Hillary died from a heart attack.

Mintie Graph

Mintie Challenge Graph
The person who had the longest mintie wrapper was Cleo by
90cm because she took her time. Followed by Reupena with 74cm.
The person who had the shortest mintie wrapper was Kale by 7cm
. I personally think  he rushed to get it done.
I also think that
Kale has not done this before.
