Holiday Recount - Galila

Going to the mall

(New Lynn Mall)

When my mum finally found a parking spot, a car parked in front of her
and my mum was not happy about it.
About ten minutes later my Mum finally found a parking spot.
When my Mum was getting ready to put my brother in the stroller,
Deborah and I were taking pictures on Snapchat. When
my Mum said she was ready we were walking into the mall.
As soon as I smelt McDonalds I felt like I was in heaven.
I asked my Mum for some Mcdonalds.
Mum said that she had to go to the bank first to get some cash.
She also said that she wanted KFC.
As soon she said that my heart fell to the ground. I didn't say anything
because I didn’t want to make me and my Mum the centre of attention,
so I didn't say anything.

It was a Wednesday afternoon so the bank was packed. Deborah
and I were sitting on the chairs while my Mum and brother were in the
long line. When it was my Mum’s turn to go up to the counter,
Deborah and I were so hungry. Just the thought of thinking of KFC
made us drool. When my Mum had finished talking to the banker she
went to pull out some cash. After she had done this we went straight out
of the mall and directly to KFC. When we arrived we ordered chicken,
fries, burgers, Fanta, and Coke. 

Deborah said that she would pick up the food and my Mum, brother
and I would sit down. When she came to our table she had the food in her
hands. The employee gave us the drink after we ordered. 

We started eating and going on social media. After we ate our food we
went back to the mall and started shopping. We went into Stirling Sports
and got some duffle bags. The shop had all these brands such as Nike,
Adidas, Champion, Fila, Reebok, Vans and other sports brands. Then we
went into an adult and kids store to get some hair ties and baby clothes. 

Afterwards, we went into Mirrou and bought some clothes for me,
my sister and my Mum. We spent about 5 - 10 minutes in the store.
As we were wandering around the store we went on Snapchat.
Then we headed towards the door and left the mall. When we
got into the car, my Mum was feeding my little brother. She said,
“Go and sit in the driver’s seat until I have finished feeding Fir’ke”.
I said “Ok”. After she had fed my brother we went home.
